How to use this page

Keep this open on your phone or iPad at the front of the room. On Monday, the block you're in gets a rust outline and a "Right now" bar appears at the top with the minutes left.

Word list

The technical words used on this page, in plain English.

Terminal
The Mac app where people type commands. Open it with Cmd + Space, type "Terminal", press Enter. On Windows the same thing is called PowerShell.
Claude Code
Claude running on their own laptop. They start it by typing claude in Terminal. It can open, write and save files, which the chat website can't.
My-Business folder
The folder the install made on their laptop. Everything about their business lives here. To work in it, they type cd ~/My-Business then claude.
Skill
A job Claude knows how to do well, like editing a video or writing a follow-up email. They start one by typing a slash and its name, like /induction, or by asking in plain English.
aws-update
A command that downloads the newest version of all their skills. Since they installed, three new skills have been added: a live dashboard, rostering and reconciliation. This command gets them.
Foundational Folders Kit
A set of files inside My-Business that describe their business: what they sell and for how much, who buys, how they talk, their reviews, their policies, their brand. Every skill reads these files before it writes anything, so it sounds like them.
/induction
The skill that fills in the Foundational Folders Kit by interviewing them. They answer out loud or typed.
Key (or API key)
A long password a tool like Stripe or GoHighLevel gives out, so another program can read your data. Each tool has a page in its settings to make one.
.env file
A private file inside My-Business where keys are pasted. Keys go there, never into the chat with Claude.
Dashboard
A web page that runs on their own laptop and shows their money, bookings, leads and customers from all their connected tools, in one place. They open it by typing my-dashboard in Terminal.
CSV export
A spreadsheet download most tools offer (usually under Reports or Export). If a tool can't be connected with a key today, they download a CSV and drag it into the My-Business/data folder instead.
Telegram and BotFather
Telegram is a free messaging app. BotFather is the official Telegram account that makes a private "bot" (their own chat contact). Once it's set up, they message their bot from their phone and Claude does the job on their laptop.

Check these first

These are things I filled in myself, not things you told me. Tell me if any are wrong and I'll update this page.

I assumedWhere it shows up
You use red cards on laptops so people can show they're stuck without calling outHousekeeping
You film intros on your phone and write each person's #1 thing on a whiteboard9:10 block
The Monday times: morning tea 10:45, lunch 12:30, afternoon tea 2:45The day

Tonight, and when you arrive at 8am

Tick as you go. The ticks are saved on this device.

Keep customer names off the big screen. Your own dashboard shows real customers, their emails and what they owe you. If you show it, stay on the "Today" tab. Never open the "Everyone" tab or a reconciliation report in front of the room.

The day

The flow: build their Foundational Folders, drop their own content into the folders, connect all their tools to Claude, then the magic. Every block ends with something real done on their own business.

9:0010 min

Housekeeping

Everyone settled, plugged in, and knows how the day runs.

  • Wi-Fi, toilets, the break times, finish at 4pm, and you're staying until 5 for questions.
  • If they're stuck, they put the red card on their laptop and someone comes to them.
  • Everything is already installed. Today is about using it on their own business.
  • Their guide for the day: put the QR on screen, or have them open aiwithsoul.com.au/workshop-day and keep it open all day.
  • Laptop lid open and plugged in all day. Some of the afternoon only works while the laptop is awake.
9:1015 min

Who's here, and the #1 thing they want today (filmed)

A one-minute clip of each person. This is the "before" for your proof video.

"One minute each. Who you are, what your business does, and the number one thing you want to walk out with today. I'm filming, and at 3:40 we'll check if you got it."
  • Film each person on your phone, landscape. Ask them to start with their first name, so the clips are easy to match later.
  • Write each person's #1 thing on the whiteboard, and tick them off through the day.
  • Before you post any clip, ask the person if that's OK.
9:2520 min

What their AIOS is, and three new skills arrive live

They understand what they've got, and watch their system get three new skills in front of them.

You

  • Walk through the AIOS page on the big screen. The talk track is at the bottom of this page, under Explaining the AIOS page.
  • Then: "Since you installed, three new skills have been added. Watch this."

They type, in Terminal

aws-update
  • This downloads the newest skills. It takes a couple of minutes.
  • Worked when: the last line says ALL SET.

Then start Claude

cd ~/My-Business && claude
  • Type / and they'll see the list of skills, including the new business-dashboard, rostering and reconciliation.
"command not found: aws-update": Terminal needs to be opened fresh. Close it, open it again, and retry. Or paste the original install line, which does exactly the same thing: curl -fsSL https://aiwithsoulworkshops.com/install | bash. Windows: they re-run step 2 on the laptop setup page (aiwithsoul.com.au/install-cheatsheet).
9:4560 min

Block 1: Build their Foundational Folders

Claude knows their business: what they sell and for how much, who buys, how they talk, their reviews and policies.

"Tell it once and it remembers. Every email, post and reply from now on reads this first, so it sounds like you and never makes up a price."

They type, in Claude

/induction
  • Claude interviews them. They can answer by talking: on a Mac, press the Fn key twice (or the microphone key) to dictate.
  • Real prices, real offers, real words. Not what they wish it was.

Check it worked

Read my Foundational Folders Kit back to me in 5 lines. What's missing?
  • Worked when: Claude reads back their business correctly. Fix any wrong price now, because every later block uses it.
"It's asking me too many questions": answer the first ten properly, then say "that's enough for now, we'll fill the rest from my documents next." The 11am block fills the gaps.
10:45
Morning tea · 15 min. Go round the red cards.
11:0045 min

Block 2: Drop their own content into the folders

Their real material is in the system: logo, photos, price list, old emails, reviews, videos.

Where things go

  • To open the folder on a Mac, type open ~/My-Business in Terminal. It opens in Finder.
  • Logo and photos: the "assets" folder inside Foundational-Folders-Kit.
  • Price lists, policies, old newsletters, website text, reviews: straight into Foundational-Folders-Kit.
  • Videos and voice notes to turn into posts: content, then inbox.

Then Claude sorts it, in Claude

Read everything I just dropped into my Foundational Folders Kit and update the right files: offers, proof (real reviews word for word), FAQs, voice and brand. Show me what you changed.
Set my brand colours and fonts for my videos from my logo and brand files.
  • Worked when: Claude lists what it updated, and the prices and reviews match their real ones.
Files are in Google Drive or Dropbox: download them to the laptop first, then drag them in. Reviews: copied word for word with the person's name. Claude must never rewrite a review.
11:4545 min

Block 3: Connect their tools to Claude

At least one real tool (usually payments or their CRM) connected, and their live dashboard open with their own numbers.

"Right now your money, leads and bookings live in different places. This puts them in one place Claude can read. It can only look, never change anything."

They type, in Claude

/business-dashboard set me up. I use [Stripe / Xero / GoHighLevel / Cliniko].
  • Claude walks them through getting a key from that tool's settings, one tool at a time, and tells them exactly where to paste it (the .env file).
  • Start with the tool they use every day. One is enough for today.

Then open the dashboard

  • In Terminal, type my-dashboard. It opens a page in their web browser.
  • Worked when: they see their own money, bookings or leads on the page.
  • If they have staff: /rostering builds next week's roster.
  • If they have a bank statement download: /reconciliation checks their payments add up.
Can't find the key page, or no login today: they export a spreadsheet (CSV) from the tool instead and drag it into My-Business, then data. It shows on the dashboard straight away. Xero: its connection can cost money, so use a spreadsheet export today. Windows: the dashboard is Mac-first. Pair them with a Mac owner to watch.
12:30
Lunch · 30 min. Go round the red cards. Ask everyone to film a 30-second video on their phone answering a question their customers always ask. They'll use it at 1pm.
1:0060 min

The magic, part 1: their video becomes a finished post

A real, captioned video of them in their brand colours, plus next week's posts planned.

"You film it. Claude edits it."

They do

  • Send the lunch video from their phone to their laptop (AirDrop on iPhone and Mac), and drag it into My-Business, then content, then inbox.

Then type, in Claude

/create-content
  • It finds the best part, adds moving captions in their colours, writes the caption and makes a cover.

While the video renders

/social-scheduler plan next week's posts from this video and my Foundational Folders Kit
  • Worked when: a finished video file appears in My-Business, then content, then finished.
  • Nothing posts by itself. They post it when they're happy.
The video takes a while: the first one can take a few minutes. That's normal. No video: record a voice note instead and use /voice-to-content.
2:0045 min

The magic, part 2: emails, enquiries and money

This week's email written in their voice, real enquiries answered, and a real question about their money answered from their own tools.

They type, in Claude

Write this week's email to my customers about [their offer]. Then give me 5 subject lines, then check it doesn't sound like AI.
/ai-support-agent here are 3 messages from my inbox: [paste them]. Draft replies.

Using their connected tools

Who owes me money right now, and who should I chase first? Draft the chase email, don't send it.
/pre-call-brief I'm meeting [name, business, website] this week.
  • Claude writes. They send. Nothing goes to a customer without their yes.
2:45
Afternoon tea · 15 min.
3:0040 min

The magic, part 3: run it from their phone

They send a voice message from their phone and get the answer back from Claude, and a morning update is set for 7am tomorrow.

Make their bot (on their phone)

  • Open Telegram, search for @BotFather (the one with the blue tick), send the message /newbot.
  • Give it any name, then a username ending in "bot", like SarahsBusinessbot.
  • BotFather replies with a long key. Copy it.

Then, in Terminal (Mac)

bash ~/My-Business/.system/telegram/setup-telegram.sh
  • Paste the key when it asks, then follow the steps it shows.

The moment

  • They send their bot a voice note: "What came in today, and what's on tomorrow?"
  • Worked when: the bot replies with the answer.
  • Then set tomorrow's 7am update, in Terminal:
my-dashboard schedule 7am
  • Tell them plainly: the laptop has to be on and awake for this to work.
The bot doesn't reply: the setup line wasn't run, or the laptop went to sleep. Run the setup line again with the lid open and plugged in. Windows: this part is Mac-only for now. Pair them with a Mac owner to watch.
3:4020 min

"Did you get your #1 thing?" (filmed), then the offer

The "after" clip for your proof video, then the next step offered to the room.

  • Same order as the morning, 30 seconds each: "This morning you said [their #1 thing]. Did you get it? Show me." Tick the whiteboard.
  • Two or three people show their video, email or dashboard on the big screen.
  • Then put the offer QR slide on the big screen and open the offer page. The offer lives on its own page, not in this guide.
4:00to 5pm

Close, then questions until 5

A group photo, and nobody leaves with something half-working.

  • 4:00: official close and group photo.
  • 4:00 to 5:00: help anyone who stays, and have the 1:1 conversations.
  • For anything unfinished, write down the name and what's missing. It gets done at the first Tuesday live build.

Explaining the AIOS page

For the 9:25 block. The page: aiwithsoulofficial.github.io/what-is-your-aios

  1. Top. "AIOS means AI Operating System. It's Claude on your laptop that knows your business and does the work."
  2. Section 1. Point at the two boxes. "A chat window tells you things. Your AIOS does them: the email with your real prices, the edited video, and it remembers your business."
  3. Section 2. Scroll the skill cards. "23 jobs it already knows. Type the slash name or just ask." Point at "Run the business": that's your cue for aws-update.
  4. Section 3. Press play on both examples. "Stacked, the skills run a whole job start to finish."
  5. Section 4. Press "Watch the kit fill up". "This is what we build first today."
  6. Section 5. Play the phone conversation. "This is where you'll be by 3 o'clock."
  7. Section 6. The example dashboard counts up. "Every customer, lead, booking and invoice, from all your tools, on one screen."
